About the Founders

As Montessori Guides and moms ourselves, we have experienced firsthand the beauty of incorporating the Montessori philosophy in our own homes and with our own families. We know how hard, messy, beautiful, fulfilling, joyful, frustrating, and lovely parenting can be. We’re here to bring our Montessori methodology expertise and encouragement to you and your family, and guide you in curating a path forward.

Lisa Whitley, M.Ed.

Lisa is a mom and entrepreneur who has a passion for making Montessori more accessible, both at home and in the community. She has worked with children in various capacities for over 15 years. Lisa holds an AMI Primary Diploma (ages 3-6) and a Masters In Education from Loyola University Maryland.

Moira Diaz-French

Moira has worked in Montessori schools for the past 14 years, most recently as a Toddler Guide. She holds an AMS Primary Diploma (ages 3-6) and an AMI Assistants to Infancy Diploma (ages 0-3). She is passionate about making the Montessori philosophy and methods more accessible and truly believes it is a wonderful way to parent.
